What a surprise! We saw this on Google maps and decided to go out of our way and get an early breakfast at a "mom and pop" diner. One of the best breakfast experiences ever. Small and cozy. The food was great and the staff and patrons were quite friendly. We'll go back whenever we pass through Martinsville.

Kind of a hole in the wall, but food and service was 5 stars. A little hard to find, but worth looking for

This was my first time here. It is about an hour and a half from where I live. The restaurant was very busy. They still took my order quickly and brought out the food pretty fast. Everyone was very friendly and polite. I met Skip and we talked about motorcycles a few minutes. He was also very polite and friendly. The food was great and the prices very reasonable. It's easy to see why they stay so busy.

This is a little bitty hole in the wall deli type restaurant. If you didn't know it was there you would miss it all together. But the server was sweet and polite friendly and didn't rush which is nice especially when you've never been there and need to read the menu. I got a chef salad it was actually okay I wish there had been more tomatoes but you don't get everything. My girlfriend happens to love this place and I'm glad she took me I'd be willing to go again.

Skip's is Conveniently located within 1 mile of my residence. Whether I go with Breakfast of Lunch .... My Meals Are Always Delectable! I love their Biscuits and Gravy and the Skip Cheeseburger is 2 Die 4! YUMMY! What I really like about the staff is the owner of the restaurant comes out from behind the grill and personally greets each table-full of customers and asks how they are enjoying their meal! This Southern Gesture on the owners behalf make me feel that much more welcome each time I dine at Skips and I recommend them to the masses.
